# Activity log

> See what your assistants did. Jobs show each step, the code changes, and the terminal output, and Approvals keeps your decisions. A live timeline is coming.

Every task an assistant takes on is recorded. You can look back at what it decided, what it ran, what it changed, and what you approved. There is no hidden work.

## Jobs

Open [Jobs](https://stellarfirm.ai/app/jobs) to see every task, newest first. Filter by status: queued, running, succeeded, failed, or cancelled. Each job shows its kind, its current status, and when it last changed. Jobs refresh by themselves while you watch.

Open a job to see its steps, grouped like this:

| Step | What it tells you |
| --- | --- |
| Route decision | Which assistant took the task, and why |
| Approval | A risky step that waited for you, and what you decided |
| Code changes | The Coder's diff: the lines added and removed, file by file |
| Terminal | The commands the Coder ran and their output |
| Outcome | How the job ended |

Secrets are never shown. Anything sensitive appears as **Redacted**.

### Stop or retry

On a job you can **Cancel** it if it is still queued or running. Pending approvals on a cancelled job are rejected, and nothing is sent to your connected tools. A failed job can be retried, which queues a new job on the same route. Secrets are not copied into the retry.

## Approvals history

[Approvals](https://stellarfirm.ai/app/approvals) lists what is waiting for you, and keeps a record of what you have already decided. Each entry shows what the assistant wanted to do and whether it was approved or rejected. That is your audit trail for anything risky. See [approvals](/docs/ceo/approvals) for how it works.

## The workspace itself

Beyond the job record, the workspace keeps its own evidence:

- [Files](/docs/workspaces/files) shows what the assistant wrote, including screenshots.
- The [Terminal](/docs/workspaces/terminal) tab in a chat replays what the Coder ran.
- The Tools view lists what is installed, and what was added on request.
